Terms

Plain-language terms for using Git Lora and gitlora.uz.

Terms of Service

Effective date: 22 August 2026
Last updated: 22 August 2026
Operator: Git Lora ("we", "us", "our")
Website: https://gitlora.uz
Product: Git Lora Desktop ("the Application")

These Terms of Service govern your use of the Git Lora Desktop application and the gitlora.uz website (together, the "Service"). By downloading, installing, accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Acceptance of terms

Using the Service constitutes acceptance of these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you act on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you are authorised to bind that organisation.

2. Licence — Git Lora Personal

Git Lora Personal is provided free of charge. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to download, install and use the Application for your own projects. You retain all rights, title and interest in your project content.

3. Eligibility

You must be of legal age to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction and must not be barred from using the Service under applicable law.

4. Accounts and authentication

Account access is provided by email and password only. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account. You agree to notify us promptly of any unauthorised use. We may suspend or terminate access to protect security.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service to violate any law or the rights of others;
  • Reverse engineer, decompile or redistribute the Application except as permitted by law;
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service or its systems;
  • Introduce malware, or interfere with the Service's security or availability;
  • Abuse, overload or attempt to disable rate limiting or other protections;
  • Use the Service to process data you do not have the right to process.

6. Your content and intellectual property

You retain all intellectual property rights in your project content. We claim no ownership over your projects. You grant us only the limited rights necessary to operate features you explicitly enable (for example, optional sync or support). Nothing in these Terms gives us a licence to your project content beyond what is strictly required to provide the feature you requested.

7. AI proposals

The Application's AI proposes changes; it does not silently rewrite your work. You choose whether to apply or reject any proposal. You are responsible for the content you apply and for verifying AI output before relying on it.

8. Git Lora Business

Business access is granted on request and is subject to separate commercial terms. Business terms may add commitments around deployment, governance, support and data boundaries, but do not authorise us to access your project content except where strictly required to provide the agreed service.

9. Downloads and release verification

Each release is signed. You are encouraged to verify the SHA-256 checksum and signature before installing. The Application's updater verifies HTTPS, expected publisher, cryptographic signature, SHA-256 and version policy. We are not liable for downloads obtained from unofficial sources.

10. Open-source components

The Application may include open-source components under their respective licences. Those licences remain in force for the relevant components.

11. Updates and version policy

We may release updates, including security updates. Some updates may be mandatory. The minimum supported version is published with each release. We are not obliged to maintain indefinite compatibility with obsolete versions.

12. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

13. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event shall Git Lora be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data or goodwill, arising out of or related to the Service, whether in contract, tort or otherwise. Where liability cannot be lawfully excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the relevant period, or, for free Personal use, to the minimum amount required by law.

14. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold Git Lora harmless from claims, damages and expenses arising from your misuse of the Service or your violation of these Terms or the rights of others.

15. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or to protect security or legal compliance. Upon termination, licences granted under these Terms end, while your rights in your own project content continue.

16. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. The parties shall attempt to resolve disputes amicably. Any dispute that cannot be resolved within thirty (30) days may be submitted to the competent courts of Uzbekistan, except where mandatory consumer law of your jurisdiction requires otherwise.

17. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. We will publish the updated version on gitlora.uz with a new effective date. Material changes will be highlighted. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

18. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force.

19. Entire agreement

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Git Lora regarding the Service.
